The Nevada Southwest Energy Partnership's (NSWEP's) mission is to help create a new energy future for Nevada and the American Southwest. NSWEP's vision is to establish and sustain a network of Renewable Energy Centers that focus on applied renewable energy R&D, education, and outreach centers for the development and deployment of renewable energy in Nevada and the Southwest.
NSWEP is a public/private partnership of Nevada State System of Higher Education (which include but are not limited to the Desert Research Institute, University of Nevada-Las Vegas and the University of Nevada-Reno), Nevada State Office of Energy, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, local agencies and communities and local businesses.
