Wind Projects

Wind is created by the unequal heating of the Earth's surface by the sun. Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy in the wind into mechanical power that turns a generator that produces electricity to power homes, schools, businesses, and communities. NSWEP aims to advance and develop wind energy technologies in the American Southwest — a region where the wind resource is significant.
